AK Bean Foundation is seeking compassionate, motivated individuals to join our team as Counselors. No prior counseling experience is required — we are looking for people who genuinely care about helping others and are able to engage clients in positive discussions and meaningful conversations.

Position Responsibilities

• Facilitate conversations and engage clients in group and individual discussions/conversations
• Encourage personal accountability, growth, and positive decision-making
• Support clients in a respectful, professional, and compassionate manner
• Assist with educational groups and program activities
• Maintain professional communication and documentation
• Work collaboratively with clients, staff and community partners

Qualifications

• No experience required
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to connect and build rapport with diverse individuals
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
• Passion for helping others create positive change

Training & Support

AK Bean Foundation will help assist and guide qualified candidates through the certification process requirements for becoming a certified counselor. We believe in developing and supporting individuals who are committed to helping others succeed.
